Background Screening

Required For Officials Over The Age of 18.

Background Screening is required first step  for All Officials over the age of 18

IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18, you do not have to complete a background screening. You may continue to Enroll in your course.


Those referees over the age of 18 must complete a background screening before they will be able to view content or enroll in a course in the Learning Center.  This screening is good for 2 years and is required by USSF for all adult referees nationally.


The process is easy and takes about 5-7 business days to be completed.  Please plan your time accordingly, as this must be completed before any other work to re-certified can be started.


Click the "Background Screening" link in the left navigation to start the process (CIrcled in Red)

From this screen you will be walked through the process of entering your information and starting the "Background Screening" Process.  


Once completed you can return to the Learning Center and continue with the next steps in registering for your certification course.
